Productions 

(offered Early Spring and Fall)

Revolution Theatre Company offers full-scale junior productions for ages 5–18, held twice a year beginning in January and September. Each production runs for approximately 11 weeks and typically meets once a week, culminating in two dress rehearsals and 2–3 performances, depending on cast size. Past productions include Seussical Jr., Peter Pan Jr., Aladdin Kids, and Lion King Jr.

Auditions at Revolution are designed to be fun, low-pressure, and welcoming. We aim to remove the stigma that auditions are scary by creating an environment where students feel encouraged to participate, be brave, and supported by their teachers and castmates. This positive atmosphere carries through the entire 10 weeks of rehearsals, where students learn theatre basics, master blocking, and develop their singing and dancing techniques.

In week 11(ish), everything comes together during two dress rehearsals, and then it’s showtime! Students take the stage in full costumes, complete with props and sets, to deliver an unforgettable performance for friends and family.

Our productions are open to all levels, from beginners to more experienced performers. Join us and experience the thrill of bringing a story to life on stage!

Rev-Up Programs

(offered late spring and Fall)

Rev-Up is a one-of-a-kind, performance-based Musical Theatre Revue class that masterfully combines singing, acting, and dancing. This fast-paced and fun class has become a student and audience favorite, eagerly anticipated each season. It’s perfect for beginner and intermediate students eager to build a solid foundation in all three disciplines while having a blast!

The program culminates in an electrifying showcase, featuring multiple solo opportunities to highlight each student’s unique talents. In the fall, we add a festive Christmas-themed component, making our December showcase even more magical, while in the spring, we focus on classic musicals, allowing students to explore iconic Broadway hits.

Whether your child is new to theatre or has some experience, Rev-Up is designed to accelerate their growth in every aspect of performance. On the first day, students are assessed and placed into smaller groups based on age and ability, ensuring personalized development and the chance to shine in our final, unforgettable showcase.

Summer Camps

(offered during the month of July)

Dive into the magic of theatre this July with our action-packed Summer Camps! Each two-week camp culminates in a full-length performance of an exciting show, where campers can showcase their incredible growth and talent in front of friends and family.

Your student will explore the fundamentals of singing, acting, and dancing, all while honing their theatre skills in a supportive and creative environment. Whether they’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or already have experience under their belt, our Summer Camp is the perfect fit for performers of all levels.

Triple Threat Theatre Camp:

Camp Experience:

Triple Threat Theater Camp is quickly becoming a favorite here at Revolution! "TTTC" is a very special Musical Theatre Revue that is just for our 9-18 year olds (although rumor has it that we might be opening it to our younger students- stay tuned!). Ms. Kelsea has taught this style of camp for years and it is always a HUGE hit among students and audiences alike. This camp is designed for beginner and intermediate students to grow their theatre skills and give them a strong foundation as well-rounded performers in singing, acting, and dancing.

Triple Threat Theatre Camp culminates in a fast-paced and high-energy style show that is custom designed with multiple solo opportunities to perfectly feature the students that sign up. Past revues have featured songs from Hamilton, Newsies, Wicked, Tuck Everlasting, The Greatest Showman, Les Mis, and many, many more.

This accelerated camp is great for both first-timers, and students who already have some theatre experience. Get ready to grow in your weaker performance skills, and soar in your strengths! If your student is looking to grow as an all-around performer, and is ready to take on a fun challenge this Summer, then this is the perfect camp for you! This Musical Theater Revue will steal your heart and have you jumping out of your seat to cheer your student on at their final performance!

Spotlight Performance Prep: Tap, Jazz & Improv Acting

Join us for an exciting Wednesday night combo class where students will develop foundational skills in tap and jazz dance with Ms. Ashley while exploring the world of acting through fun improv games that foster creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking with Ms. Kelsea. This two-hour class is designed to build confidence and equip students with strong dance and acting techniques that will serve them for years to come, laying the perfect groundwork for excelling in our bigger productions.

Students will be divided into two groups by age and ability on the first day to ensure tailored instruction in a supportive and fun environment. Each group will enjoy:

1 Hour of Tap & Jazz Dance

1 Hour of Improv & Acting Basics

We’re excited to incorporate more tap into our future productions, making this class a fantastic opportunity for both new and returning students to get a head start on this valuable skill. Students participating in this class will also have the chance to apply their newfound tap skills in our Rev Up program later this spring (more details coming soon) and throughout the rest of the year.

This class is open to all ability levels, and new students are warmly encouraged to join.

Audition Class:

(Offered Seasonally)

Get ready to shine in our exciting Audition Workshop, designed for young performers ages 5-18! In this fun-filled, high-energy class, we’ll dive into the essential skills of acting, singing, and dancing—all the key ingredients to wow any casting panel. Students will be split into age-appropriate groups, rotating through three interactive stations focused on each skill.

Each student will experience a "mock" audition, complete with tips and tools to impress a casting panel in all three modalities. While we’ll run the class similarly to our auditions at Revolution, the skills learned are transferable to any professional or youth theatre auditions! This class is a perfect companion to our upcoming Lion King Jr. production, but all students (whether registered for our Spring shows or not) are welcome to come learn, practice, and have a blast! Students will leave feeling confident and ready to walk into any upcoming auditions with the skills they need to succeed.

Revvy Rascals: Play, Dance, Sing, Shine!
