Revolution is such a special community. It's a place where everyone is valued and pushed to be the best that they can be. It's such a joy to come to rehearsal and watch the kids make deep friendships while making some of my own! Miss Kelsea as a director has a knack for focusing on each individual student and growing them in their theater skill and in their personal character. Having been both a student and staff, I can see the care and love that goes into every production.

When we found Revolution, we found exactly what we had been looking for in a theater company: an encouraging, solidly Christian, quality company that was homeschool schedule friendly.  The staff and leadership genuinely support and care for all the kids while still pushing them to have a strong work ethic and to strive for excellence. I also appreciate the focus on using gifts to glorify God and not self....it keeps the company (people) drama free and produces disciples, not divas. The camaraderie among company families is refreshingly encouraging and supportive. Everyone is genuinely rooting for each other. It's been a joy to watch my kids having so much fun while growing through theatre and the Revolution community is one we're incredibly grateful to be a part of.

I like Revolution! At this theater company I have gotten chances for parts I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. It also has Christian values and supports homeschooling. All the Revolution staff are nice. I've made friends there. They train us and drive us to push farther than our comfort zone. After doing Revolution, it inspired me to take voice lessons which improved my voice this audition.

My time at Revolution Theatre Company as a student, Next-Gen student staff, and teacher, have been incredible. The culture at Revolution is encouraging, bright, and truly wholesome. The kids all LOVE being there and the teachers all have huge hearts for them. All the directors and staff, especially Miss Kelsea, care so much about the kids and work hard to nurture their growth, not just in talent, but in character. That is what stands out the most about Revolution; the uplifting environment where kids learn to build each other up, work as a team, and are instilled with confidence understanding they are uniquely created and loved by God. From the start, Revolution has been about glorifying God through the arts, and the commitment is so evident in the character growth in every individual and the kids' bright smiles. I am so grateful for all my experiences at Revolution and even though I’m graduating from being a student, I am thrilled that my sisters can grow up with this amazing company.

Revolution Theatre company has been a place for our family to find joy in creative enrichment activities for our kids.  At least that's how it started out.  As our family became a part of the community at Revolution, it very quickly became a place for our whole family to learn, grow and serve together.  Having a place where our kids get quality theatre experience, setting them up for success in the professional world, if that's what they choose, it is also a place where they are covered in prayer and get to be enriched by devotionals and scripture.  I can't say enough about our experience with Kelsea and the rest of the leadership at Revolution Theatre Company. Being a part of Revolution Theatre Company has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It has shaped me into the performer and person I am today. When I first stepped into this space I was filled with passion and ambition but unsure of my abilities. Every rehearsal, every piece of advice, and every performance have challenged me and driven me to grow beyond my greatest expectations.

Along with teaching me nearly every technical component of theatre, my mentors have also taught me a ton of other wonderful things like what it really means to worship in spirit and truth, work ethic, how to live with an intentional heart, and how to deal with tragedies in life while still glorifying God. They continuously pour into their students with endless love, guidance, and wisdom, and they nurture our hearts and minds, building confidence and inspiring us to be the best versions of ourselves both on and off the stage. Through their perseverance, compassion, and unwavering faith, they demonstrate to us what it means to put our trust in God and use the blessings He has given us for something bigger. God's love is always reflected by the way they love us, and His light is always shining so brightly through them. This Company is so much more than a place to perform; It’s a home and a safe space for everyone to grow in their talents and grow spiritually. Within this place I have found not only my joy but a family that supports, uplifts, and believes in me. The love, encouragement, and sense of belonging here are truly priceless. No matter what life brings, I know this is a place where I will always be welcomed, valued, and inspired, for that I will always be tremendously grateful. The lessons I’ve learned here will stay with me forever.

Revolution and team are incredible. They are thorough, devoted, and I’ve watched my daughter learn and grow soooo much from revolution. They really take the time to get to know the kids individually and push them lovingly towards improvement in skills. When my Mom first told me about Revolution, I was worried that other kids would be exclusive and the casting would be biased, but that wasn’t the case at all. By the first week, I already LOVED it! My favorite part of Revolution is the community. Everyone is always kind and cares equally about each cast member, new or old and I have made some of my best friends here. I’ve learned that the most important part in rehearsal isn’t perfection, but having fun! Ms. Kelsea and the rest of the staff are always so encouraging and believe in us before we believe in ourselves. To anyone considering joining Revolution, I would say that you won’t regret it! You will leave every rehearsal looking forward to the next one. <3

I would tell a friend thinking about joining a show to DO IT! It is so much fun, you will make lots of friends and never regret it! Not only do we learn a great show, but we get to glorify God while doing it. I love Revolution because all of the directors are so sweet and kind. They make sure auditions are low pressure and stress free, but still competitive and fun. Rehearsals are so fun, you get to be yourself, and I look forward to them every week.  I have done theatre with other production companies and Revolution is by far the BEST!

I think other kids should join Revolution because they have awesome staff and they’re a Christian company. Being in a show makes me feel like I’m in my comfort zone and I have learned to feel my emotions more deeply. It’s always fun learning our Bible verses throughout the season because at the end we earn a cast prize!
