At Revolution, we believe the arts can be a powerful tool to glorify our Creator. Through high-quality training in acting, singing, and dancing, we help students grow in skill and confidence, developing life lessons that extend far beyond the stage. Our professional and like-minded team is committed to fostering an atmosphere where children can thrive, discover their passions, and be challenged to achieve their personal best—all while exploring their talents in alignment with timeless biblical principles.

We don’t just teach the what and how of theater; we focus on the who—helping each student understand and celebrate who God created them to be. Our approach is rooted in encouragement and empowerment. We believe in calling our students higher and never letting them settle, pushing them to grow both artistically and personally. Whether it’s through a song, dance, or monologue, we create a space where students feel seen, valued, and loved. Auditioning and performing can sometimes be intimidating, but at Revolution, your child will be encouraged to embrace their uniqueness, take risks, and understand that they are valued for who they are, not just for the roles they play.

We believe the Word of God is a powerful foundation that informs not only our work on stage but every aspect of our lives. Prayer and scripture memorization are central to every rehearsal. It’s not just about performing—it's about building character and instilling values that will serve students long after they leave the stage. Every child is encouraged to operate in their God-given gifts, discovering their strengths, working on their weaknesses, and ultimately becoming the best version of themselves at their current age and stage.

Revolution serves both homeschool and after-school students, offering a supportive space for families from all walks of life. We understand and celebrate the unique role of parents in shaping and guiding their children and are honored to partner with families who want to preserve and protect these sacred years.

At the heart of our mission is the belief in the beauty and purpose of each child’s God-given identity. We are committed to always point students toward their Creator, to nurture their talents and develop character, and to give Him glory for everything they do—both on and off the stage.

Revolution is a place where everyone is valued and respected. We warmly welcome families from all races and economic backgrounds. Here, your child will be loved, cherished, and celebrated as a vital part of our Revolution family.

Join us on this incredible journey of faith, creativity, and excellence. Together, let’s take the arts back for the glory of our magnificent Creator!

Meet Ms. Kelsea
Born and raised as a homeschooler in the South Bay, Kelsea grew up immersed in the local theater scene, performing in shows from the age of 10 through 19. She attended the prestigious Orange County School of the Arts, where her love for musical theater flourished. Some of her favorite roles include Wendy in
Peter Pan, Sandy in Grease, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Cosette in Les Misérables, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.

Kelsea continued her training with The Young Americans, touring Europe and Japan as a singer and dancer. Career highlights include performing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Segerstrom Center alongside Susan Egan, and fulfilling her dream of playing Liesl in The Sound of Music with Broadway in the Park. Over the past decade, Kelsea has shifted her focus to directing and producing, leading more than 45 musicals in the South Bay. She has a passion for designing original musical theater revues to showcase the unique talents of her students. Even during challenging times, Kelsea stayed committed to the arts, directing outdoor productions on her parents’ basketball court with full lighting and sound systems.

Teaching with Heart and Purpose
Ms. Kelsea’s teaching style is a vibrant mix of energy, encouragement, and intentionality. She creates a dynamic, family-like atmosphere where students feel safe to make mistakes, try new things, and grow. She excels at seeing each student as an individual and pushing them to their personal best, always calling them higher and never letting them settle.

Her rehearsals are filled with fun and laughter, but they’re also a place of growth—both artistically and personally. She empowers her students to operate in their God-given talents, helping them identify strengths, work on weaknesses, and celebrate the unique individuals God created them to be. Auditioning can be one of the most vulnerable parts of theater, and Kelsea ensures her students feel valued for who they are, not just for the roles they play. Prayer and scripture memorization are at the heart of her approach, grounding every rehearsal in faith and purpose.

More About Kelsea
When she’s not directing, Kelsea enjoys singing on her church worship team, traveling, sailing with her family, and advocating for medical freedom. Kelsea loves spending time with Abe, the 6th Guide Dog for the Blind puppy she raised and has now adopted. She’s looking forward to the day Abe will make his stage debut as “Sandy” in
Annie!

Kelsea thanks God every day for the privilege of founding Revolution Theatre Company “for such a time as this” and is excited to see His plans unfold. To Him be the glory, honor, and praise!
